Business masterminds are groups of business owners, speakers, or creatives who have a commonality in the way or type of business they have. The purpose of joining a mastermind is to assist you in accelerating your business and reducing the time it takes you to achieve your goals.

There are many different types of masterminds you can join. To decide which type of mastermind you’d like to join, you’ll want to start with your end goal first. For example, do
you want to know more about your industry? Are you looking to network with complimentary businesses? Would you like to know more about productivity software or meet others in the same industry as yourself?

Once you have connected your business goal to a purpose for networking, then you can choose a mastermind that will be most helpful to growing your business. Since there are many types of mastermind groups, you’ll want to narrow down what types of groups you’ll want to network with before you jump in together. While some masterminds are free, others give a free trial or are a monthly membership, so keep in mind the amount of time you have to spend when you join a mastermind to get the full benefit of membership networking with other members.

While the lead magnet is the product you deliver for free, a landing page is a one-page website that you make on your email marketing platform. This landing page is the advertisement for your lead magnet. You will create information boxes so your lead can add their name, email, company, or website - email and first name is a minimum. You don’t want to ask for too much information because that will scare your lead away!

The landing page is the one-page website where your lead will place their information (such as the one you just filled out) to get this lead magnet. Once you design your landing page, your email program will ask you if you want to attach a document, video, or image. This is where you’ll place your lead magnet.

Once you have that design, your email service will give you two items: a link to use on social media, on your website buttons, and a hyperlink. Your email service will also give you an HTML embed code. This is a fancy name for a few lines of code that you can embed on your website, making the landing page pop up for your visitors.

You’ll want your giveaway to be a product that is easy for them to download and use, such as a free mini-ebook, discount coupon, online course, a how-to course that’s dropped to them by email, or any other type of valuable content you can provide to them that is easy for you to deliver - it should not take a large amount of your valuable time.
